The Gold Miner's Wife

In the summer of 1873, young and artistically talented Susannah Carlyle does something quite unconventional when she travels from her home in England to the Colorado Rockies where she spends three months painting the lovely landscapes she has heard so much about. A chance meeting with the dashing Thomas Sprague, a prosperous gold mine owner, leads to a marriage proposal. When tragedy unexpectedly strikes, Susannah's future is imperiled. Within her circle of friends there is someone who will ultimately betray her. Will she discover the deception before it is too late?
