Dawns Early Light: The Fort

Nobody knew how it happened or started, but one moment everything was fine and the next all hell had broken loose. Modern America was now in a new dark age and every where civilization was falling apart. Every where that is except the Fort. Some how a man who had been considered a loser had convinced the government to build the Fort for just such an event. Its job was to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, protect the people and the Rule of Law. In the process to do whatever it could to protect the borders of America and find ways to rebuild America as best it could. As time passed the legend of William Stanton grew, yet for some reason his family still thought of him as a looser. His Great Grandson three times removed decided it was time to set the record straight as a historian, unknowingly walking straight into a situation that would change his life.
