Brother Bill is a 1974 graduate of the Ivy School of Professional Art (Pittsburgh, PA) with an Associate Degree in Art (Photography). In 1989, he graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg PA with a B.A. degree in Art (studio operations). Brother Bill received his Master of Divinity Degree from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in 1993. Brother Bill completed his education with a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Religious Studies in 2015.
