"Writing for me a like an encrypted language of the soul. It's like those thoughts buried beneath the surface; those thoughts and emotions that have never been addressed be it, the good times, those unforgettable childhood memories; those moments that you just want to put on pause.
My love for music, especially hip hop & jazz, combined with this overly active mind of mines; with the right vibe, I become one with the melodies which allows me to lay my canvas.
I strive for vivid descriptions along with the usage of let's just say my own brand of metaphors.
My art allows me to indulge in those thoughts that have been held captive for far too long; it's a quiet surrender in a sense; a release that goes without saying; I never went chasing after this gift; this gift found me and with that said; I am grateful to have the ability to captivate, inspire while doing something that I hold such an unwavering love affair for; poetry is my sweet mistress; my sins, my heartbeat; it's every rhythmic beating pulse of my being."
