The Awakening

This is the story of the first true vampire that North America has ever seen. The Awakening is about a man named Frederick Niles, his descent into madness, and the affect that it has on every aspect of his life, from his relationships, to his beliefs, and his sense of self-preservation. While on an expedition into the heart of South America, he encounters an ancient evil that infects him with terrifying results. It is at once a tragedy and a twisted tale of horror depicting his struggle to remain human.
