False flags, fake news, and the truth collide in this thrilling, satirical glimpse behind the curtain of the Deep State and modern media--a place where global hegemony is bought and our future is sold.
"...a highly satirical, comedically dark, and wildly unpredictable romp."
"Hilarious and spot-on."
-Steve Reinhardt
Lead Political Correspondent, Our World News
In the second installment of the The Dead and the Dogs, our unlikely and unknowing hero Leroy O'Malley--code name Kingfisher--now knows the hard truth about Operation Solar Angel and the martial-law take-over of his hometown of Apalachiacola, a peaceful little fishing town on Florida's Forgotten Coast.
All he had wanted was a real job,"the good life", but instead found himself in over his head as a pawn in a winner-takes-all geopolitical game of chess. The end-goal: a second Bay of Pigs devised to make off with billions in World War II gold, stashed away in the mountains of Cuba on the eve of Castro's ascension to power.
Along the way, Kingfisher finds himself and realizes that much of what glitters is nothing more than fool's gold. His shattered idealism put him on the outs with the CIA and he finds himself pitted against the very people who had promised him a ticket to the top. Now it's time to exact his revenge. My, my, how the worm has turned.
