The Long Mean Road Home

A boy and a girl, both twelve years old, are the sole survivors of a plane that crashed high in the Rocky Mountains. They waited as long as they could for rescue to come for them. None came.

Then came all the problems, troubles, and danger they went through going down the long, mean trail of that mountain.
