My Mamma's Baby Girl

Two unlikely young women become best friends. Jolene is white, an only child and reared on Army Posts. She's bright, pampered, uncurbed and opinionated.
Skeeter is black and raised in the projects. She is the baby girl of a brood of four. She's short- tempered, street smart, and clever with an ever-probing highly over-developed attitude.
