Heart and Soul of a Black Man

Warren G. Landrum, Jr. has had one poem, "The Lake (As I See It)", published in the American Anthology of Poetry – 1983. The first poems in this book were written while Warren was a student at Indiana University from 1974 – 1976; some were written in Germany while in the U.S. Air Force from 1977 – 1979, and the chapter containing the gospel songs was written in 1988 1989. The featured poem, "The Puppetmaster", was written in 1994 while Warren was on assignment on the beautiful island nation of Bermuda, and one of the last chapters in the book, 'A New Century", was written in 2006 as was "Carib-American--Nubian Queen". The most recent piece,"Twenty-Nine", was written in 2012
