Jayla is a single mother working to raise a man-child with, what seems to be, all odds against her. She was raised to be an independent woman, but her need for love challenges that independence at every turn. Because she chooses to follow her heart, it leads her down some paths that may not have been visible had her mind been given a vote. Nevertheless, Jayla's search for love is a journey she takes, willingly, because her heart has an insatiable hunger that has to be fed.
