Meraidia and the Curse of the Ancient Ancestors

Meraidia is an orphan just trying to fit in with the people of the underground city of Election. When a series of unfortunate incidents occur shortly after her arrival, the citizens mark her as a curse. Darren, her adopted father, along with a family friend, Zoey, sway the hearts of the citizens but it doesn't last. Forced to leave the city and face the extreme weather conditions of the surface, Meraidia discovers that they aren't the only people surviving on this desolate planet. However, these newcomers have brought a curse of their own.
