When I Realized Butterflies Are Beautiful

I grew up a middle child, in a small college town in Alabama. We were poor but proud. I managed to work my through college and after moving to northwest Indiana, completed some graduate school. History/Political Science has always been my safe haven, my interest, those subjects intrigued me. I write to ease the pains of life. I write to inspire but mainly to start conversations. I believe that people grown up, not down physically and mentally. This small book allows me to hold hands with you, to garner understanding, to build, to help others and ultimately, to make our America a much better place.
