The Menace of Good Fortune

Gray's life crumbles around him; second marriage dissolving, business soon to follow if something unexpected doesn't happen fast. But it does. He's told the oldest of stories about a treasure ripe for the taking.

Retrieving it won't be easy. The treasure sits across the Canadian border deep in the Boundary Waters, more than a million acres of desolation and isolation. Others seek it, including an accused killer. Desperate, Gray buries his skepticism and ignores the danger, recruiting his brother and two friends to join him in his search.
