Alex is young lady from Aaround the way who's always had it her way. With her kingpin father and her best friend Gina by her side, almost nothing was impossible for her. But falling in love was the hardest thing Alex ever had to do when she fell in love with her boss Ali and owner of A&A Inc. She was shocked to find herself in love and especially with a woman to say the least. Alex's outgoing spirit became quieted in a nutshell over the next few years while she worked at A&A until her and Ali started dating. Ali was a woman of business during the day and by night she was the owner of the underground club Her Box. She was the lead entertainer there and the lover everyone wanted. Alex and Ali fell in love a short time after a city wide cab ride to a local coffee shop. Although it seems like Ali had it all, she felt empty like the boxes hid in her home. Ali told Alex they were important and would one day save her life. Alex does her best to ignore them, but throughout their relationship she felt like the club and those boxes became more important than her and demanded to know what was in them.
