Jaleth and the Dragons

As the Day of Manhood draws near, Jaleth dreads the ritual all men in his village must undergo. He wants to become a man, to take his place in the village, but the ritual is terrifying. Finally his fifteenth birthday, the Day of Manhood, arrives, and he undertakes the rite. But as he nears Dragonridge, he must choose whether to follow custom as strong as law, or to seek his way elsewhere, and find adventures he never dreamed of in a world wider than he could ever have believed.
