Rick Conger, retired, widowed, and living alone lives a rather routine and non-eventful life until one day he gets involved with a family which causes a considerable change in his life style. He experiences pleasures and sadness and is greatly confused by the conduct of Carley, the lady of the house, whose promiscuous actions are known only by him.
