The Gospels of Jesus have undergone tragic mistranslation and misinterpretation - and in some cases destruction - beginning with the Roman Empire's power-grab of early Christianity and the early Gospels. As a result, many Gospel texts were buried in the desert to escape destruction. This is a nonsectarian modern English translation of the earliest Gospel texts, including the four Gospels along with the Gospel of Mary, the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Philip and many other texts that together portray the original teachings of Jesus.
