There is also a problem with the perception and defining of labels with the word "minority" being there to keep down the African American and Latino communities rather than the actuality of the meaning of the word. In addition, the problem is with identifying with self in both the gay and Jewish communities.
Also introduced here is the problem of Jewish oppression that some even the communities themselves may not be aware of the reason for anti-sematic attacks against them. One of the comparisons made is to show how when community's of a people are oppressed they tend to turn on one another and commit the heinous crime of murder and other violent acts. Displayed are interviews of multiple Jewish people to get their perspective of the oppression of the Jewish people as well. Shown indeed is how the Jewish people in general favor this outlook. Discovered was the gay community with the reveal of what is a high level of racist tension running rampant amongst them. It appears the only time they get together is during the gay pride marches. Study show how many of them confuse pride with rebellion as a way to communicate to the public about how they are treated with degradation, as anger. This article shows that racism exists in every state of the union. After fifty years since the Kerner report come out and President Linden B. Johnson gave his state of the union address in 1964. In 1967 they compiled the REPORT OF THE NATIONAL ADVISORY COMMISSION ON CIVIL DISORDERS SUMMARY OF REPORT. The point is being made that this is still a relevant fact today that has not been dealt with until now and will continue to occur until something is upgraded. End of Oppression is that upgrade.
Factors are brought together and shown how even though signs of oppression exist and the behavior that allows it to continue the positive aspect of it is that these are teaching tools to prove how communities can generally overcome them. Provided examples use anger to propel to the next level towards greatness. This book takes steps to rebuild the confidence that is in the core of the people affected and bring it to the surface. It is being replaced with the self-doubt and self-degradation and negative thought process that are already there. It is about understanding your emotions of pain and anger and how to deal with it appropriately.
