Monsters of the Pit

Greed, lust, sex, and an old hermit, as well as an unearthly monster await a group of college friends hiking in the mountains, in the first of two short stories. When the old hermit leads them to a pit deep in the mountains to find gold, they find themselves trapped and have to use every bit of their wits to stay alive. There, to their dismay, they find they have to fight the monsters within themselves as well as the monster the hermit sent them down to be killed by. Can they stay out of reach of the creature that has turned the pit into a boneyard? If they do get out of the pit can they survive the old hermit and his shotgun? And most importantly, can they live with what the monsters within them did while they were in the pit? This story contains graphic descriptions of horrifying events, as well as love-making. A young boy is bullied repeatedly and continually, tortured in mind, body and soul by his peers, and eventually raped, in the second story. Trying to get relief through parents, teachers and even the police, he finds it actually exacerbates the problem instead of helping and it continues to grow worse as the days turn to months then to years. As the years turn into decades, the abuse eventually warps and bends his mind. Seeking a way to save his sanity, he finally takes refuge in a pit within his mind. From within this pit he devises a plan to repay his tormenters. When the abuse becomes perversion and rape, even from within his mental sanctuary he is unable to handle the agony and torment that it causes. Now fearing for his life, he decides to put the plan into action and his revenge is diabolical and all encompassing. Will anyone be able to survive his "surprise" packages? Can the school itself stand under the onslaught he unleashes? This story contains graphic descriptions of horrifying events and sexual perversion. Only read it if you enjoy such descriptions.
