Mama Said... Lilly's Story

Being the youngest child in a family of six, Lilly was reared alone, in a small, rural
Mississippi community by her widowed mother, after the death of her father and the marriages
of all of her siblings. Having grown up without father or brothers, she finds herself not knowing
how to accept or deal with the attentions of two very different and yet persistent young men.
Mother had given her much through the years, the most valuable being one little piece of
advice. If only she had paid better attention to what Mama had said.
