Sarah and Cat fired at the same time, cutting the six men to ribbons. Rifle fire came from the top of the HARP as Sally added her fire power to the mix. All three Alpha team fighters concentrated their gun fire on the dozen men who were shooting at Manny. They were hit from three directions as the trio gave them their full attention. Four were killed before they withdrew to better cover. Two more were killed as they showed too much of themselves while seeking better cover. It was then that Sarah noticed that during that portion of the fire fight that the three men that had Lee were now dragging him away to the east. Lee's limp body sent chills down Sarah's spine and left a very cold feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"Harm," Sarah yelled into her VTR, "where the hell are you?"

I'm on the roof with Sgt Sally, hoping that T-Bone doesn't swing his turret around and cap my ass." Harm replied sarcastically.

"Well if you don't nail those bastards dragging off your commanding officer," She hissed back, "I'll be the one capping your ass! Now do your God Damn job and blow those three bastards away!"

Each of the three men holding Lee's limp body, had hold of a different limb as they hurriedly carried Lee away to the east. One man had Lee's left arm. Another man had Lee's right arm and the man that had been wounded by Lee was carrying Lee by the legs. Harm aimed for his first targets head. Harm always aimed for the head. He aimed for the head for two reasons. One, sometimes people wear protection that might divert a bullet. A head shot cannot be protected against unless a person wears body armor from head to toe. And two, It's a guaranteed a kill. No doubts.

The guaranteed kill was Harms true reason for head shots. He wanted someone to stay down when he put them down. And besides, Harm very rarely missed. If he didn't hit the head, he would hit the neck. It would still be a guaranteed kill. Harm didn't take pleasure in killing, just in the act of shooting, and he enjoyed shooting very much. Harm never saw his targets as people. They were just targets. To do otherwise would drive a person crazy. Shooting was Harm's life and his life was in the shooting. It had become Harm's only reason for living now.
