Wandering the Backroads

Blend a country home with a veranda swing and a tall iced tea and we have the right formula for a stroll down memory lane. The lazy back and forth sway, a gentle stirring of wind chimes, and the plaintive cooing of a mourning dove call me back to a time when living in the country meant a quiet so still, you could almost hear a caterpillar inch its way across an oak leaf. Soon, my head is back, my eyes are closed, and I find myself wandering down the back roads of my mind.
The book you hold in your hand is an assortment of memories, musings and meditations from my life. I hope it will bring a few smiles and maybe stir and warm your heart; but most of all, my foremost desire is to point someone toward Christ.

~~MY STRONG TOWER is a serious, yet lighthearted, snapshot of my personal life as I share a crippling fear that once disrupted my life. Rejoice with me as the Lord takes away my fear and replaces it with an awe and reverence that continues to fill my heart with amazement!
