The Stinky Kid

Oh my! What is that smell? Why, it's The Stinky Kid! The Stinky Kid takes a humorous approach to talking about the always sensitive, uncomfortable, and embarrassing subject of personal hygiene with children. As children get older and start to approach that time in their lives when the hormones kick in and the odors become unbearable, hygiene is often not an easy subject to bring up. Drawing on his experiences as an elementary teacher, author Joe Garces wrote this non-confrontational and humorous story as a way to break-the-ice with his students when it came time to teach personal hygiene to his classes.
