A Glitch in Reality

Inhale, one, two, three. Exhale, one, two, three, four. Everything in rhythm, in the same way all the time. Counting everything - the seconds to breathe, how many times I dribble a ball before shooting, how many times I chew before I swallow. Everything has a specific number, and I won't do it any other way. I don't know why I do this; instinct perhaps? Or maybe just a bad habit. But no matter how hard I try, I know I won't be able to break out of this routine. Nobody else seems to do this, but maybe they do and nobody shares it.
