Running away is what Bree McInnes does best. So when the single mother returns to Spruce Lake to help clean out her father's house, she plans on getting the job done and getting out again before anyone in the small town ferrets out her secrets.

Her plans are complicated, however, when she falls for her boss, a celebrity orchid hunter at the local college. Bree is appalled by her attraction to Parker Ellison, but she's having a hard time resisting him. And her defenses are demolished by Parker's kindness to her son Charlie.
