The Know Trees: Deana Maes Extraordinary Journey

When I was a young girl I was fascinated by magic, fairies, dragons and the magic of Mother Nature. My fascination drove me to write this story about Deana Mae, a 11 year old girl who goes on an extraordinary journey to learn and understand her new found powers taught to her by her Great, Great, Great Grandmother who could trace her roots back to Africa. Deana Mae learns how Mother Nature replenishes herself and can grow a forest from a single seed. In doing so she learns why it is important to live with the earth; not just on her.
