Sir William liked being a space trash barge pilot. It was quiet, he could blow things up in space, wear his slippers and nap. What does an alien who is a space trash barge pilot have to do with saving Mac's dad from getting eaten by a not-so-extinct terror bird? Could Mac's life get any more bizarre? Mac's world sucks.His mother has just died.
His idiot father is somewhere in South America chasing an extinct monstrous, flesh ripping bird so that he can take a picture of it.
Mac has to live at his Aunt Maddy's with his annoying, twirling seven year old cousin, Misha.
Kids at school hate him, but not as much as he hates them.
The only thing good in his world is the beautiful and kind Rani, his only friend, and someone that he is hoping will become more than a friend.
With all of this insanity why would he want to meet one more weird, useless adult?
