One Isn't a Failure because One is Mentally Ill: One is Mentally Ill because One is a Failure

If someone is a failure and he is also mentally ill, it is tempting to blame his failure on his mental illness. But that is never the right explanation.

If somebody is legitimately good at something¿if he is success-bound at that thing¿then his doing that thing will be a respite from his psychopathology. It will be a safe space for him.
