In the 2002-2003 academic year he was a visiting fellow at Stanford Law School's Center for Internet and Society. He is the author of My Tiny Life: Crime and Passion in a Virtual World and is currently a contributing editor for Wired magazine. He lives in South Bend, Indiana.
