The Little Mermaid

"The Little Mermaid", one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved fairy tales, is narrated by David Walliams for the GivingTales project. It is a fairy tale about a young mermaid willing to give up her life in the sea and her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul.

"The Little Mermaid" was released on April 7th, 1837. The original title in Danish: "Den lille Havfrue".
