Cadmus and Hermione

Martin Fraudreau helmed this January 2008 opera - a production of Jean-Baptiste Lully's five-act lyric tragedy +Cadmus and Hermione (1673) - at Paris's famed Theatre de l'Opera Comique. It stars Andre Morsch as Cadmus; Claire Lefilliatre as Hermione; Arnaud Marzorati as Arbas and Pan; Jean-Francois Lombard as La Nourrice and Dieu champetre; and Isabelle Druet as Charite and Melisse. Benjamin Lazar did the mise-en-scene, while the Orchestra, Chorus and Dancers of the Poeme Harmonique lend added support.
