Baritone vocalist Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau (considered one of the greatest of all lieder singers) and concert pianist Hartmut H?ll team up for this classical performance film, that finds them interpreting two major compositions by Robert Schumann (1810-1856) at Liederabend Baden-Baden in 1987: Eichendorff-Lieder op. 39 and Kerner-Lieder op. 35.
