Blood on the Fields [Blu-ray]

Susan Shaw's 1996 documentary follows legendary trumpeter Wynton Marsalis from New York City to New Orleans as he assembles his cohort of musicians for the recording of his opus Blood on the Fields. Marsalis' 1997 release was awarded the 1997 Pulitzer Prize for Music, and is considered a masterpiece oratorio.
