British European Airways: The Definitive Newsreel History 1946-1974

British European Airways was formed in 1946 to take over the RAF's military routes in peacetime UK and Europe. Footage includes Northolt in 1949; and air disasters in Belfast in 1953 and Heathrow in 1965. Many famous aircraft are featured. BEA survived until 1974, when it was amalgamated with BOAC to form BA.
