NORTHERN SOUL is the story of a youth culture movement that changed generations, and even today, has Northern England rocking. In the 1970s, feeling suffocated by small town life and the doledrums of the factory production line, two young boys dream of escaping to America to find the rare records that never cross the Atlantic, in order to become the hottest DJs on the club scene. As they embark on a journey to fulfil their dream, they will have their friendship tested by the harsh realities of life.
