Roger Chapman: Family & Friends

Roger Chapman first shot to fame as lead singer/songwriter of late '60s/early '70s rock band Family, racking up a number of Top 10 singles with them before venturing off into a solo career. This programme features Chapman--often regarded as one of the best male rock vocalists--in a sold-out concert recorded in autumn of 2002 at the Newcastle Opera House. Supported by his backing band Short List, Chapman dips into his extensive back catalogue for over 2 hours of classic rock sung in the "Chappo" way.
