Eoghan is alone. His world has fallen apart. He has lost his family, and the only person he has left is his daughter. He must look after her, and he must give her everything. He must do all of that whilst society itself crumbles around them. This is the story of how he struggles to save them. This is a story about what he must do to keep them safe. And this is the story of how much he loves her.
This story is set in rural Ireland, but it could be set anywhere. It describes what might happen if Irish society fell apart, but it could be any society that is falling apart. What are important are the central truths. Love. Life. Family. Nothing else matters. Whatever happens nothing else matters.
