Meditating with the Dalai Lama

This release was intended as a single installment in a series of films designed to both bridge the teachings of 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso with a mass audience, and heighten interest in Buddhism among prospective converts. Presented in English, it finds Gyatso discussing the fundamentals of meditation, elaborating on the idea that mental happiness endures longer than physical, and reinforces the notion that meditation is the key to mental transformation and the attainment of happiness. Gyatso also discusses the existence of two "types," single and analytical; he explains each type and its practical application in daily life.
