Moira Henderson was born in the Scottish Highlands and currently works as a registered nurse in Reno, Nevada. This novel was inspired by her training in forensics. "My knowledge of human organ harvesting was acquired during my training in health care while studying at Cambridge University, England. My knowledge of court procedure and training in forensics, mainly about pedophiles, inspired my present work."
