Then I knew...something was glowing. There was something glowing in the darkness with the force of a star. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. The glowing seemed to be coming from some point next to me or near me, but when I looked down, I saw that it was simply me. I was glowing. Silver. My favorite color. The glow was dimming, though, with each passing second and I saw the reason why. Small specks of the silver glow were floating off to be in the darkness. Instead of just the black of night, now it seemed as though we were in the starry sky. Thick with glowing, silver stars and whipping, raging wind.

Phoenix's seemingly blind eyes focused on mine. "Your power reacts with darkness. Starlight, you hold the power of the Stars within you. Now I see. I understand where that enormous power comes from." The darkness faded and his eyes slowly turned crimson again. The silver specks disappeared last. "You are not just a StarChild. You are StarBorn."

I let my wind fade. "StarBorn?"

A small nod. "StarBorn. It is a baby that is born with the ability to control the stars."
