La Traviata [2 Discs]

Belgium's Opera Royal de Wallonie mounted this 2009 stage production of Giuseppe Verdi's three-act 1853 opera LA TRAVIATA. In the principal roles, it stars Cinzia Forte as Violetta Valery, Tineke van Ingelgem as Flora Bervoix, and Federica Carnevale as Annika. Steffano Mazzonis di Pralafera directs for the stage, while the Orchestra and Chorus of the Opera Royal de Wallonie provide musical accompaniment under the baton of maestro Paolo Arrivabeni.
