Il Giasone [2 Discs]

The Vlaamse Opera mounted this 2010 production of Francesco Cavalli's three-act opera +Il Giasone, with its libretto by Giacinto Andrea Cicognini and a score revision by Alexander Krampe. The cast includes Christophe Dumaux as Giasone, Katarina Bradi? as Medea and Robin Johannsen as Isifile. The Symphony Orchestra of the Vlaamse Opera lends musical accompaniment under the baton of Federico Maria Sardelli; Julia Hansen designed the sets and costumes; and Mariame Cl?ment directs for the stage.
