When I first wanted to make the anthology I wanted to find a way that didn't benefit me. I could not fathom the idea of accepting royalties off my friends works. So the idea was born to create a charity. Because we are an international group of writers, we felt our charity should have a global outreach. Thus we chose to have all royalties from the sales of Ripples go to "Operation Smile"
