Virtuosos of St. Petersburg

The young and talented Orchestra de Camera de Los Jovenes performs under the guidance of respected Russian conductor Vladamir Altschuler in this release of a performance showcasing the works of composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Samuel Barber. After setting the mood with Mozart's "Serenade in D, KV 239: 'Serenade Notturna'" and showcasing the remarkable skill of the strings section in "&Divertimento in B Minor", the orchestra displays their skillful fluidity and heartfelt emotion with a moving rendition of Barber's "Adaigo" - a composition that once moved a nation when performed at the funeral of former U.S. politician John F. Kennedy.
