Flowers of the Himalaya: A Supplement

As the name suggests, this book is a supplement of the definitive and widely acclaimed Flowers of the Himalaya (1984) by Oleg Polunin and Adam Stainton. The Supplement contains some 350 species not previously described in the parent volume. These include a number of species common in subtropical parts of the subcontinent and a number of exotics -- many of American origin which visitors frequently suppose to be indigenous.
