Order and Violence: Hedley Bull and International Relations

One of the great scholars of International Relations, Hedley Bull worked within a tradition of political thought which derives from Hobbes, Hume, Grotius, and the natural lawyers. Bull not only added to this tradition, but he also demonstrated how it could become a foundation for the study of International Relations.
