For the twelve incredible pieces she created especially for this calendar, she used combinations of ink, colored pencil, and watercolor on transparent layers that she placed over opaque collages she produced using hand- and computer-generated designs and paper ephemera, including maps and postcards. The result, thanks also to the precise detailing of each bird and flower, is stunning.
