Chinese Foreign Policy in Transition

With a focus on the post-Cold War era, 18 contributions analyze the sources, substance, and significance of Chinese foreign policy. Liu (political science, College of Charleston) has organized the papers—written primarily by American scholars—into sections addressing "theory and culture," "perspective and identity," "bilateral and multilateral relationships," and "retrospect and prospect."
