e-Governance for Development: A Focus on Rural India

Over the past few decades, there has been a rapid proliferation of eGovernance for Development projects. Drawing on evidence from three longitudinal case studies of rural eGovernance projects this bookshows that improving systems of governance is fundamentally a social rather than managerial or technological activity.
