Geopolitics of Europe's Identity: Centers, Boundaries, and Margins

"Europe" is shifting in extent, character and role in the world order. In studies focused on the largest scale (Russia, the U.S.) and the smallest (Gibraltar), a group of European scholars consider the way that countries and spaces marginal to Europe impact, through their identities, actions and locations, on the character of the European "center."
